Complimentary Meet & Greets
Initial meet & greets are complimentary and help review routines, medications, home details, and care expectations.
Dog Size Limit
Dog services are best suited for smaller to medium-sized dogs with manageable leash behavior and moderate energy levels.
Services may not be available for very large, highly reactive, or difficult-to-control dogs.
Vaccinations Required
Pets must be current on vaccinations and free from contagious illnesses for the safety of all animals.
No Aggressive Pets
Services are not provided for pets displaying behaviors such as biting, lunging, or intent to attack.
12-Hour Cancellation Notice
Cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Medication Support Available
Medication administration is available for many pets, including pills, liquids, insulin, and topical medications.

Pet Sitting Terms & Service Policies
Services Provided
Megan’s Pet Sitting provides in-home pet care services including pet sitting visits, feeding, fresh water, litter or habitat care, dog walks or potty breaks, medication administration, and basic household tasks when arranged in advance.
All services are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.
Pet Requirements
Pets must be current on vaccinations, free from contagious illnesses, and safe to handle during visits.

Booking & Payment
Services must be booked in advance, and a deposit may be required to secure scheduled visits.
Payment is due at the time of service or as agreed upon during booking. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, and Zelle.
Keys & Access
Clients are encouraged to provide keys during the complimentary meet & greet or use a lockbox when possible.
A $20 key pickup or key drop-off fee may apply when a separate trip is required to collect or return keys outside of scheduled visits.
Exceptions may be made for apartment buildings or homes where key fobs, access systems, or building rules make other arrangements difficult.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may incur a cancellation fee.
Refunds are provided at my discretion and may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Safety & Conduct
For the safety of pets, people, and the home environment, I reserve the right to refuse service if a pet displays aggressive behavior or poses a safety risk.
This includes behaviors such as biting, lunging, or jumping at people with intent to attack.
Liability
I take reasonable precautions to support your pet’s safety and well-being during visits. However, pet owners remain responsible for their pet’s health, behavior, property damage, and any risks related to pre-existing medical conditions or household hazards.
Emergency Care
In the event of a medical emergency, I will make every effort to contact you immediately and follow your emergency instructions.
If you cannot be reached and veterinary care appears necessary, I will seek veterinary care for your pet at the owner’s expense.
Privacy
Client information, including contact details, home access information, and pet care instructions, is kept confidential and will not be shared without consent except as required by law.
Changes to Policies
These policies may be updated as needed. Clients will be notified of significant changes prior to future scheduled services when applicable.

By booking services with Megan’s Pet Sitting, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these pet care policies and service terms.

While most visits are routine, pets can sometimes experience unexpected illness, behavior changes, or medical concerns while their owners are away.
If something seems wrong, I will contact you as soon as possible, follow your emergency instructions, and help coordinate veterinary care if needed.
